I saw a few posts on the weather in Perhentian so dropped a quick text to my sister-in-law who runs Alu Alu divers over there. Apparently the weather is still excellent and they are not expecting to close the season until 31st October.
You could do worse than visit her and her team - its idylic and the diving is great. They also have brand new accomodation called the "Bayu Dive Lodge". Details are on the web site of the same name.
