After years of entirely diving quarries heading down to FL for a long weekend of warm water and decent vis.
Right now the plan is:
Drive down Friday - shore dive (maybe ft pickens jetties?)
Sat - New Venture Wreck
Sun - Oriskany
Monday - AM shore dive and head back to N Ga
I've never been spearfishing, but have the urge to try to get some lionfish. Is there anywhere you can shore dive in the area that might have lions? Or is a charter needed - if so does anyone have a fairly inexpensive recommendation, the two wrecks kill most of the budget for a weekend trip.
Any better recommendations for shore dives - we've each got 50+ dives under our belts and are decently fit, so willing to try some with a little more of a swim.
