I am looking for a way to transport a Canon G9 with Canon housing, such as travelling and when on boats.
I am hoping that I can put the G9 in the canon housing, and put the whole lot in a Pelican case. I've read in other posts that other members put their camera in the camera housing so I am hoping this will be alright.
Does anyone have this setup with the G9? I am wondering which Pelican case would be most suitable.
I've seen some WP-DC21 dimensions listed as 5.2 x 3.5 x 2.7" which means I could use the Pelican 1120. However I have also seen other websites like B&H Photo list the dimensions as 5.51 x 4.07 x 4.5" (140 x 103.4 x 114.2 mm). This means i would need the Pelican 1200 which has internal dimensions of 9.25" x 7.12" x 4.12" (23.5 x 18.1 x 10.5 cm). I don't understand why there are 2 sets of dimensions being listed for this housing.
Can anyone shed some light?
