I purchased a Fisheye Fix housing for a Canon G11 along with a Sea and Sea YS-01 strobe and I'd like to get a hard case (Pelican, or any other good brand) for it but I'm unsure about the size of the case. Assuming there is the stock foam inserts in it, how much clearance do I need between the lid and the contents? The contents and sides? Should the housing be flush with the top of the foam with the lid not touching it at all? Touching a little?
Any carrying ideas that can protect my gear while still saving weight and space will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You will need the size up from mine (a faux Pelican). I think mine is equal to the model 1500.

It measure 17X12X5 I think.
