I was watching the latest episode of NCIS on TV and this is what I see in the background. The scene is supposed to be set in Alaska but obviously it is Ventura Harbor. Kinda cool to see stuff you are familiar with on TV shows..

I saw the same show and wondered the same thing, could that really be the Peace?
Interesting how they chose Ventura instead of something closer to HW.
Maybe filming permits are easier to get and cheaper?

Maybe they couldn't find one with the right atmosphere? Like you can't fake Alaska when the background is expensive buildings and yachts.

That’s true.
They could always come up here to Bodega Bay, our harbor is pretty Alaska-ish.
