Hi! I am new at blogs, so please forgive me.
I am dedicating a page to my web site to gather ideas of what patch collectors do with their patches. I have had great responses , and will post them on the site, once I receive photos or suggestions of what people do with the patches that they collect. I realize some folks are not into patch collecting, but I think it is fun and can have many happy memories. So please, share your ideas, photos, etc. so others might enjoy doing the same. One of the people that responded, places them on a quilt, which I thought was a great idea.
Please send photos to info@divepatches.com - Dive Patches International - Thanks again and I look forward hearing the different many ideas.
Cheers,
Tasha

A lot of SCUBA divers like to buy a warm up coat (i.e. boat coat, or swim team parka) and sew their patches on to it. Then the SCUBAboard gurus flame those people as not being real divers.

I know a few firefighters that will display certain patches in a shadow box type display cases, but that limits the amount of patches that can be mounted.

Hi Muddiver:
Thanks for your help. Like I mentioned, I'm new at this so I appreciate your assistance. I have so many folks that are patch collectors, and have given me ideas. I was hoping for more ideas to share with others. I have had people see my dive flag patch and wanted to know about what it was. If I can encourage or promote scuba to even one person, it makes my day. I also supply patches to the US NAVY diving unit and Coast Guard units. I wonder if they are closet patch collectors? :-) Thanks again, and safe diving.
