We are an eco-expedition company with 25 years of experience exploring the Sea of Cortez. Just wanted to introduce ourselves as a dive service provider for the Sea of Cortez. We have a "Journey Into the Mysterious World of the Whale Shark" Research/Dive/Snorkel/Natural History Expedition October 15 - 22, 2011.
We will be assisting world renowned whale shark scientist Deni with her research for approximately 3 to 5 mornings during the trip. This will include photo ID, gathering data on size, sex, scars, taking DNA samples and placing satellite tags. That's right, it means we don our snorkel gear and slide into the water alongside Deni and the whale sharks.
