Andrew,
We definitely can customize a housing for the SDR S26. It would go in our PRO 6 housing and I know you will be pleased with it. Give me a call, post a reply or shoot me an email and I can answer any additional questions you have. erik.g@equinoxhousings.com

I was wondering if anyone has seen a Panasonic SDR S26 underwater housing?

Andrew, that is a very low end camcorder, fine for topside family vacation shooting but not for underwater, and most manufacturer's aren't going to make a housing for it for that very reason. The least expensive housing you will get for it is probably the Equinox and will be over $800. I would rethink housing that camcorder. If you really want to shoot underwater video, get a better camcorder (many are on the market for about double the cost of the S26) with low light capability good enough to give you decent resolution and quality video. I don't think you will be happy spending so much on a housing. Just my 2cents.

I think that is solid advice Robin. We also have our retrofit program, so if you decided to go with the the PRO 6 housing for your SDR S26 you always have the option to send it in and retrofit it to whichever camera you wanted to upgrade to in the future. If you choose later to retrofit, the retrofit housing will be approximately half the price of purchasing a new housing. You can retrofit as many times as you like.
