If you have a Palm Computer and you want to download your dive profiles from a Suunto Stinger I have just posted PTDive at www.palmgear.com. This has only been tested on my stinger and my homemade interface but it might work with other Suunto models and other interfaces.
If you want to give it a go (Its free) then the link is included below. If it does or doesn't work I would be grateful if you could email me.(address in application)

Warning. This application will not protect your Palm if you drop it off the side of a rib

Are you using a simple serial connector for this? If not, could you explain your interface?

I've set one up (for a different prgram: DiveLogger) in the past, but it never worked. The creator kept telling me "now you need this or that". Will I need a null modem cable?

Thanx.

It may or may not work with the standard suunto interface plugged into a hotsyn cable/cradle. You might need a special cable (possibley a null modem) to swap transmit and recieve over and to convert from female to male.

I made my own interface based on the plans on this website:

http://www.geocities.com/scubadiver_roli/english.html

Total cost about $10

This works fine with my palm and hotsync cable or with my PC and the software available from suunto.
