Still thinking about a (budget) trip to Palau in November.
I would like to avoid the crowds and see big fish.
Maml Divers in Peleliu seems to be much cheaper than the dive shops in Koror, and you save travel time to the dive sites.
However, I wonder whether you get to all great manta cleaning stations and drop-offs from over there and whether it is a reliable shop (I want to buy gear before leaving, but I am on my own, definitely needing a dive guide who makes diving in currents as easy as possible for me).
Where to stay and to eat is another question.
By the way, are there ATMs accepting maestro/cirrus in Palau and Peleliu?
Yours,
Liberty

In November 2006, I was in Palau and I could use maestro, but you can't use your mobile GSM even triband!

Manta rays are in German Channel only.

Thank you.
What was the diving like in November?
Yours, Liberty

There are no ATM's in Peleliu only one place to stay Story Board. Maml is a dive operator who mainly caters to Japanese. I have used them one person spoke a little English. There are no crowds in Peleliu compared to Korr.
