I just came back from Palau on the Big Blue Explorer and wanted to share my photos
which can be seen at www.bttmdwllr.multiply.com and to let everone know that the ship has heavily diso****ed trips in may.

For some reason, I couldn't access your photos. I'll be on the Big Blue March 9. Any helpful info you could give me about this boat would be appreciated. Either post it here for all to read, or PM me.

I might be dense, but what does "diso****ed" mean?? If you can't fill in the blanks publicly, PM me. Sorry, I couldn't figure it out.

i'm guessing it was supposed to be "discounted" spelled incorrectly.
isn't may the slow season? that would make sense that a company discounts prices in its slow season.

great photos...shame the airfare from the US is soooooo much

Thanks for the nice pics. By the way, on photo No. 20 of 43, is that a lionfish taking a ride on your tank band?

Stu, do this...get a flight to manila THEN get a flight to koror. you'd be shocked but it will run you 1100 usd all the way to palau and back. Lots of flights coming in to manila from the west coast for under 700 usd, and if you book through expeditin fleet you can get discounted rates to palau

No it was a crinoid at the end of a coral branch.... there weren't a lot of lionfish in Palau, much more of them here in Anilao

Great pics yvette. Thanks for sharing your trip with us. How were the accomodations on the BBE?
