What are conditions in Palau like around December-January? Any thoughts, observations, advice? Thanks

I did a trip to Palau several years ago and was there the week before Christmas. Weather was sunny and warm, even hot some days, and conditions were absolutely beautiful.

I always generally go in March. I have been there a couple of times in January and I have had a few nice and a few windy days. From what I understand the weather can be good and bad in December. Generally the best weather is from Mid Feb thru May. Then the winds start to pick up....the last 2 times I've been there in March (I go for two weeks) the weather has been one week good one week stormy....First time in 8 years i will not be there.

I was just there this past Dec. Weather was fabulous, sharks were beginning their mating congregations, water temps ranged from 82-86 degrees. Sunny every day except one when it rained off and on (still did all our dives but we were on a liveaboard 5 minutes from the sites).
My trip report is posted here if your do a search.
