Hello! My husband and I have a choice of doing a Palau live aboard Dec 3-11, or Feb 26- March 6th next year. We want to get it right, as this is the trip of a lifetime for us. Does anyone out there know if there would be a big difference in the conditions between the two months (Dec or Feb)?? Thank you!!!

February. Still a good chance of storms/typhoons out here in December. A storm can cause the sea and weather conditions to get bad and stay that way for many days, even if the storm is several hundred miles away.

I was looking at this timeframe as well and had heard Feb was one of the best times to go. How many liveaboards are in that area? We just did the Carpe Vita in the Maldives and it was a beautiful boat, would love something of similar quality but it looks like most of the liveaboards are pretty pricey in Palau.

The Aggressor, the new Dancer, the Ocean Hunters, and the Explorer, with the last being the least expensive. I think that's it.

One more big vote for February. I thought the aggressor was an excellent operation there.
