PALAU 2024 TRIP REPORT & PIX

As most of you know, brevity is not my strong suit. (I prefer to think of myself as "thorough.") This Palau trip had all kinds of stuff going on that I want to share with you: airline problems, the diving, camera problems, and an incident that could have been tragic. Thanks, Ken. Nice to see the juvenile humphead wrasse—pretty fish, and maybe a sign of a rebound. Crap situation with the surfing divers, though.

I really enjoyed my trip on that boat, even though I trashed my knee on the very first dive. Airfare has gone through the roof since then, though.

That's the thing with tight travel plans. If one little link goes wrong, then it can impact everything. Happy bubbles.

We originally got the China Airlines tix for around $1,700. The United tix, granted bought last-minute, were around $3,500, both Economy.
