Wonderful interview. Thanks. I am not a para but have lived with back pain from fractured vertebra, bulging discs and sciatica for many years. My husband doesn't believe me that when I am having a bad episode diving helps. I am not sure if it is the even pressure of the water, the weightlessness or what but I swear it helps settle my pain levels.

Doctors from John Hopkins found that there is an extra output of Serotonin in the human body at 66 feet underwater. This helps with pain management and PTSD symptoms. Ian Brown was pain free for three weeks total before his chronic pain returned. You are right. it works.
