Just looked at the video. Very cool. But this disturbs me:
"Eligibility: Sea the Change (Contest) is open to anyone who is 13 years of age or older (Entrants). Employees, and family members of employees, of PADI Worldwide Corp. and all related and affiliate companies, globally, are not eligible for the Contest. Contest is void where restricted or otherwise prohibited by law. By entering your video in this Contest, you give PADI unlimited rights to use the video for any PADI use, including, but not limited to advertising and publicity.
General Rules and Conditions: By participating in the Contest, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Winner (Winner), will be required to sign and complete a Publicity Release & Affidavit of Eligibility and return it to PADI within 30 days of notification, otherwise the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate Entrant. Winner gives PADI unlimited rights to use Winners name, picture, video entry and likeness, globally, in advertising and publicity and for any other PADI use, without further compensation, where permitted by local law. Such exposure may include PADI YouTube Channel and related scuba YouTube Channels, Facebook & Twitter and press releases. PADI specifically waives any liability for copyright infringement of posted videos. All local, state and federal taxes are the sole responsibility of the Winner. No substitution of prize is permitted. PADIs decision and selection of the Winner shall be final."
Why would you sign away your rights? For no additional compensation. Even if you do not win they can use your video as many times as they want and make as much money off of it as they can and you get no royalty for it? You shot a work of art and you just gave it away.
