For the DM course: as requirement, does canadite have to complete a pool refresher or a full tune up with certifed divers? or either?

no what?

The PADI DM course practical application component provides two options: an internship or a series of similations. The refresher course for certified divers is not required for either option.

But it is an option.

The practical application module includes several activities. The one called “Divemaster Conducted Program” has several options to choose from, including Scuba Review. Specifically:

“Conduct a simulated or actual PADI Discover Snorkeling, Scuba Review, Discover Local Diving, Discover Scuba Diving (confined water option) program or PADI Skin Diver course, while under the direct supervision of a PADI Instructor”

Does that mean the conducted program could mean Pool refresher course?

Yes it could. The Scuba Review is a theory review plus a confined water skills review. The confined water segment could be done in a pool. There is an optional open water dive as well.
