Padi Open Water Course in Puhket - recomendation?

Friends of mine are going to Phuket in April and are looking for course for open water certificate. I think they prefer a land/boat combination (first 2days in pool and then on a liveaboard) Does anyone has any recommendation?

What about the Viking you just came back from a trip with? They do the PADI courses for free on their liveaboard trips.

There's always Moskito Divers on Phi Phi island. I did my dm course with them and I can say they are very professional. Their liveaboard "excaliber" is based out of Phuket and it's a class A boat. Highly recommended. I guess April is the best time to see the mantas and whale sharks in the area. Have fun.
