I have a couple of spaces left in my upcoming Tec Circuit that will be conducted over 10 Days in the Florida Keys. Instructional Cost is $750.00 per module or you can purchase a lifetime learning pass with the shop I work at for $1500.00 that includes 20 different courses including all listed below for one package price! Details on lifetime learning pass can be found here: Life Time Learning Pass. A package has also been put together to cover all lodging & boat fees.
Due to the large amount of material and skills being covered in a 10 day period students should expect 10 - 12 hour days, each day of the circuit. Although the course will be a lot of work for everyone there will be plenty of time left over at the end of the day for fun and enjoyment.
Module #1:
Introduction to Tec: This will be conducted over a three day period between October 11th - 13th. Morning classroom sessions will be held at Silent World Dive Center in Key Largo. Followed by Afternoon dives on the Silent World IV. This three day course will cover the course requirements for the following courses: PADI Tec 40, TDI Intro Tec, and IANTD Essentials Diver. To enter this course you must hold current AOW, Nitrox & Deep Diver Certifications.
Module #2:
Tec Lite: Overlapping the Intro Tec Course, this course starts on the 13th of Oct and runs through the 15th. This module will cover the course requirements for PADI Tec 45. Like module #1 this course will involve morning classroom sessions at Silent World followed by Decompression Dives in the PM off the Silent World IV. To enter this course you must hold current Rescue, Tec 40 (Or Equiv) certifications and be medically cleared for tec diving.
Module #3:
Full Tec: Overlapping the Tec Lite course, this course starts on the 15th of October and Runs through the 17th. This module will cover the course requirements for PADI Tec 50. The first day of the course will take place at Silent World followed by a deco dive on the Spiegel Grove. The second and third day of the course will take place in Key West and include decompression dives on the Vandenberg and other area technical dive sites. To enter this course you must hold current Tec 45 (or Equiv) certifications and be medically cleared for tec diving.
Students who complete all 3 modules will have also meet the requirements and can receive certification in TDI Decompression Procedures / Advanced Nitrox & IANTD Deep Diver / Advanced Nitrox. Additionally students may elect to use TriMix during modules 2 & 3 resulting in TriMix certification from PADI & IANTD.
Guided dives and additional instruction will be provided at no additional instructional cost on the 17th & 18th. This is a great chances for students to continue to develop the skills learned in class.
All modules are conducted using DIR Equipment Standards. A preliminary video chat session will be conducted with all students individually to cover equipment needs, scheduling and other logistics. A full list of required equipment can be download here: Tec Equipment List
