Hi

I'm considering to get Oxycheq wing for double, please give me your opinion which one shall I get. Here are the item from their website.

1. 55 lbs Vertex 360 Loop Wing or
2. 50 lbs Signature Series Wing or
3. 50 lbs Razor Wing or
4. 42 lbs Vertex Signature Series 360 Wing

Thanks

Andy

What tanks and exposure protection are you using?

I'll be using 11L Al double with 11L or 8L deco bottle and wetsuit. The wings seem about the same the only diferent is the lift and the shape (donut / horse shoe) am I right?

The 50# Sig is a horseshoe. The rest are donuts.

I have the 55lb Vertex and I love it. But I'm diving X8-130 doubles with a drysuit. My guess is the 42lb Vertex would be perfect for you.

The Razor I am pretty sure is "bladderless". No outer shell.
I have a singles razor. One piece wing.

Maybe a double bladder if you are using a wetsuit? Oxycheq makes these as well.

I've not put my hands on the doubles Razor, but the website describes it differently than the singles Razors. The Razor singles wings they describe as "bladder-less", but on the Razor doubles wing they use the term "Single Bladder/Single Inflator ". On Oxycheq wings that usually means an inner bladder with an outer shell. Maybe someone who has a 50# Razor can enlighten us. . .

I have a 50 lb double bladder. It has an outer shell and two bladders inside. I only use one, but if for some reason it broke and I was in steel doubles, I have a second bladder and inflator for extra safety. Of course if I were wearing a drysuit, this would not be necessary.
