Is it true that Oxycheq Signature #30 the same size as #45? If so, what is the point of getting #30, while the #45 can be as steam line as #30.

Will #45 create more “Taco” effect and drag than #30?

I am diving in Tropical water (Thailand) with Hammerheadscuba AL Plate, which one do you recommend?

Thank.

No it's not true.

The 30lb Standard (bladderless design) is the same overall size as the 45lb Standard.

The 30lb Signature (internal bladder) is smaller than the 45lb Signature.

The 30lb Signature is also smaller profile than the 30lb Standard.

30lb is more than sufficient for warm water diving. 45lbs tend to be bought by divers doing cold water diving, or diving with extra gear like ponies or cameras so they can get some extra lift on the surface.

cheers

as long as you're properly weighed and neutrally bouyant at the surface with no air in the wing, you might be able to use their 18# wing(standard). Just depends upon how much bouyancy you'll lose when your wetsuit compresses at depth.
