OW this weekend, Will Saturday ever get here?

I'm going to do my OW this weekend and am so excited I can't stand it any more. I can't concentrate on my work, I'm as nervous as a high school kid getting ready for his first date, I might have a breakdown before Saturday gets here. Man, if i'm this excited about doing my open water, I can't imagine what it will be like when I start my decent into the clear waters in Cozumel.

Any last minute tips from the experienced divers?

Like Uncle Pug said....Just relax. You'll find that theres ALOT more room in the OW to manuever in. It may be difficult because of all the exciting things around you, but pay attention to your instructor. Do your buddy checks. You dont want to forget your weights, or forget to turn your air on etc. I forgot my weight belt....was embarrassing.

Relax, have fun, pay attention, and apply what you learned in class. Where are you doing your dives?

We are going to lake Ouachita(sp) in Arkansas. It is supposed to be a very good lake for diving. I'm not worried about messing up. I'm sure there will be something that I do that will be wrong...LOL. But, I am there to learn as much as possible. I'm more anxious and excited than I am nervous. I'm just ready to go.......woohoo.
