911 feet long - wow

Wow... that thing is huge... 60' ladders that go straight down!

Wow... this whole thing is simply awesome.

Friggin awsome! Not gonna make it this year(2007) though. Key Largo in may and then Monterrey in July will kill my vacation. But the bright side is I should have my Adv Nitrox and Deco by the time I do get there and with luck trimix so when I do go I'll be able to spend some serious time on her.

Our "camera man" Scott got some great video from her today...editing tomorrow and will try to have some online before thursday.

Just watched it. I didn't know all the prep work was done in my old home town. The shots going under the Tule Lake lift bridge were impressive - once, a 1+ million barrel oil tanker went through that passage and back - ballasting all the way. Who wouldn't have liked to be the person with the sawzall on the conning tower during that point in the trip?

Not too surprised their tow cable broke, but it was impressive they kept The Big O off the rocks that form the banks of the ship channel at that one point. Traversing the Gulf of Mexico was evidently a piece of cake in comparison once they were out to sea.

I finally got to see the show! I wish that they'd show more of the actual dives on her. One of these days, I'll get to dive her, and what an honor it will be!
