Organizing Charter to Pitcairn/Henderson/Ducie

Hello all,

Just like many of you I imagine, I have been interested for several years in diving the remote Pitcairn group - particularly Ducie and Henderson. The options to get there are limited, expensive and do not generally mold well to the objectives of avid scuba divers.

I am somewhat interested in the idea of organizing my own trip. This is no easy task given that these sites can only be accessed by a multi-day ocean crossing (most likely from Mangareva in French Polynesia). There are charter boats available. As a first step, I would like to have an idea of how many people would be potentially interested in joining a trip of this sort should someone such as myself chartering my own trip.

This is a very tentative first step, a shot in the dark so to speak. I am well aware of this. However, it may some day lead the an actual trip out to these remote corners.

So please feel free to let me know who would be interested in such a trip should it be feasible.
