So, I bought 2 of these lights back in December 2024, when they were on sale, and they are great lights. I was wondering how many divers who own these lights are having the same issue I am having. If i use the magnetic charger on the lights, after 2-1/2 to 3 hrs. the charger turns green and indicates the lights are fully charged, but when I check the voltage with a meter, it says they are only 12.1 to 12.15 volts. If I plug the charger directly to the battery, they continue to charge (indicator red) for another hour or so, then I check the voltage with the meter, and now they are up to 12.58 to 12.68, which is what they are rated for. So, is that magnetic charging port worthless or what??? Also, since its actually live all the time (use meter to read voltage) and it's in direct contact with the water while diving, is it actually draining the batteries when it's in contact with water, since water can conduct current under the right circumstances, especially salt water? Anyone have a similar experience?
