Hello

I just wanted to bring up options, Why is it every regulator for tech diving everyone says Apeks, Diverite, Scuba pro and what not. Always the same old brands. Lets look into Oxy, Salvo regs, Why are these never in the threads? I hear these match performance of xtx200 for half the price. Just buy 3 of them and your set?
Some one tell me why.
Thanks Chris

I use Dive Rite,,Oceanic and Mares... so there.

My first concern would be servicebility of these regs worldwide. I know I can get an Apeks or Scubapro reg serviced at any lds worldwide if I'm on vacation and something happens. I'm not sure I can say that about a Salvo or DR reg. I have no idea if they share service parts with the big name brands.

Im speaking Performance wise, I know alot of tech divers who service them there selfs. The kids are really easy to get yourself, instead of apeks where you have to hunt really hard to find them. I was just curious of Oxy regs, If its true they match my xtx200 why not get that and service them yourself? Really im just looking for a performance thread.

My Dive Rite/Oceanic/Mares all preform just fine in many various conditions.

How do the Salvo, Oxy regs perform really? Anyone know?
Chris

If you go to Dive Rite Express' web site you can buy the rebuild kit and have it with you,and the service manual is on their site in step by step format. If there are tools,it can be easily fixed.

I think Salvo and DR regs come from the same factory, the only difference is that I don't think Salvo offers the balanced 2nd stage.
