just wanted to know what you guys think of these two regulators.. i own both of them ... and i am now purchasing my first aga mkII.yay. (lots of savin cash to get this one). and i want to get rid of one of them.. let me know what you guys think of these two regs.. thanks

I have a Mares Ruby (steel, not titanium). 15', 150', tropics to freezing, I've never had a problem.
Actually, your reg, as are most, is made of chrome plated brass, not steel.

I'd dump the Mares Ti Ruby. Mostly just because I'm not really a fan of titanium regs, but I figure you could get more people interested in buying Mares older flagship reg for a decent price. I definitely think you'll get more out of it than the omega II, and if you're looking to save some cash for a new reg, that's as good a metric for determining which one to dump as any other.

...well, I own a 'non-titanium' Mares Ruby and it's one sweet regulator......never dove an Omega though.....although I have 3 similiar side-exhaust Odins, which I really enjoy.
You'd get more for the Ruby, however, since Mares has discontinued the Ruby and the even more expensive Ti Planet, I've seen some pretty low prices lately for their left-over new-in-box Ruby/Ti Planets, so you may have a hard time recovering anything like what you paid for it.
Hard to imagine you getting enough for either reg to make much of a difference toward your new purchase......so I'd sell whichever one you like the least.
