Dear diving friends!
We've had three misfortunate cancellations from a dive trip we're holding in awsome Hitra, Norway, from February 24. to March 3. These three divers have all paid a solid deposit, and are at risk of loosing their money if nobody can take up their spots in such a short notice. Therefore, if you are available for a whole week's diving adventure in and around our diving paradise, why not go for a chance and join! There are 5 spots available.
It's become an "international" dive trip, with about 18 participants from all over Sweden and Norway. Sexes are about 50/50, and if you are two together you will have your own bedroom.
Norway is a huge country, so for convenient transportation we've rented a brand new 17s bus that can either pick you up in central Oslo (train station), at the airport, or somewhere along the route if you want to park your car on our property instead of driving all the way yourselves. (Oslo-Hitra, 8 hours. Nothing really, for a week of splendid diving!)
Our participants are divided into three groups of up to 8 persons in separate large houses. Each house has a fully equipped kitchen where you may cook your own meals or split the work and the food with your housemates (recommended!). Each house has four double bedrooms, two bathrooms, two showers, a large sauna (24h) a bathtub (bubbly type), washing machine and dishwasher.
We will also do some sightseeing both on water for eagles, otters, whales and seals, and by bus in the inland of hitra for Norway's largest population of wild deer.
This is cold water diving! And cold water means 6-8 degrees Celsius. It also means splendid viz. I dove in Aalesund yesterday, just a few hours south of Hitra. We had 40 metres of viz and water temps were a stable 8 degrees Celsius. If you are new to cold water diving an experienced instructor can take you to it the first time. You may also consider a dry suit specialty course.
What's the price? Well, you need at least get to Oslo by yourself. Here we can't help you much, but ferries are cheap from the continent, and we can even pick you up the airport if you come at the right time. If you arrive from southern Sweden by car you may also park your car at our home 100 km north of Oslo and get on the bus from there.

You may rent tanks and lead from us for a low fee. We can also provide a few dry suits (brand new) for rent or for sale (Sales price is about 500 Euro) if neccesary.
You may take your PADI AOW, Dry Suit, Wreck, S&R, Night Dive, Current Diving specialty course etc during your stay if you'd like. (Ask for availability and prices).
