Hello to everyone!

I'll be travelling to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic next month and wish to complete my open water referral there. Has anyone been? Can anyone recommend a good (reputable) dive agency? Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

While Universal Referral is available, it's usually best to finish with the same agency.

Most of the resorts have their own dive op. If you want to learn diving in calm Caribbean waters you should consider south side of the island, the Atlantic might be rough sometimes. Look at the resorts on the south coast

Promarine Watersport located at Hotel Catalonia in Punta Cana will be more than pleased to take you out diving. Pick up available.
As I worked for years at this site of the Dominican Republic: it is different if comparing to the south side but still worth it!!!
