So I just got home from my second day of open water dives, and it's official I passed :D

Had a couple problems with my ears, and for some reason my purge mask didn't want to purge ( or seal due to the hood ). Water temperature was in the 50's, ended up going hoodless a little chilly but worth it! Especially at around 45 feet, my face was turning blue hah.

You people who live close to the coast, feel lucky.. it would have been nice to take open waters in 70+

Just thought i'd share!

congrats! yeah, there's nothing like 50 degree water. new england has it all year round, lol. i think i might take southwest airlines up on some of their offers after i get my certification in may.

Congrats! Welcome to this madness!

Man, I can't imagine being in 50 degree water without a hood! My hat (but not my hood) is off to you!
