OP in a different color

I don't know if this topic has been debated before but I have always wondered why the OP doesn't appear in a different color or at least in a different shade.
Then, in the thread, it is easy to know if the OP is still there and to know who you are talking with.
Just an idea I see in other forums...

Interesting idea, having never seen that on the boards I get to, it never crossed my mind.

It may have to do with the limitations of the platform the board is on, and scubaboard can't do it, or perhaps it can but no one thought to look and do that.

I don't believe it's an option in xenForo. I could be wrong and I'm not against that at all.
