Have been doing some research on maritime history of ships and shipwrecks in the northeast and New England in particular and was wondering if some of you might know of some online databases and resources that might be helpful. Thanks for any help.

I have only been in that area once looking for a steamer off Boston. Walked away empty handed but did locate a steel tug. Perhaps you can try this
