Thanks for all the feedback on my new Eclipse--it's close to being ready to go and I'll likely take it for its first dive in three weeks. As the dive will be in the very cold and murky waters of northern NE, I'm trying to be very careful that the wing will be working properly.

Well, the lower dump valve sticks a bit. Specifically, the problem appears to be the moving piece with the flat rubber face--it's comprised to two pieces--like two plastic quarters glued together (with the bottom one of course having a rubber center that creates the air-tight seal). The problem is that there is a small "lip" on the side seam where the two plastic peices come together--this "lip" catches on the inside edge of the receiving/female piece, so that when I pull the valve to manually dump air, there is a substantial "click" because that small lip actually catches the edge. If I operate the pull dump many times in succession, the lip will eventually get stuck on the edge and the valve will therefore remain open. I can't tell you how much I dislike this sort of design carelessness.

Does anyone's Halcyon have this problem? I suppose I can take a file to the lip, but I HATE doing things like this with an expensive "luxury" item.

I have an eclipse as well as a few of my friends. Take it back and get it replaced. There is no need for you to take a file to it because it shouldn't be like that. Have the LDS replace it for you. Just don't let them try to replace the whole thing. Best case is they give you a new bladder, worst case is they give you a whole new wing. Just don't let them try to give you a whole new setup and take away your ever so adjusted BP with it. :D
