The camera is water proof till 33ft. When you add the included underwater housing, you can take this camera on your scuba dives to 100+ feet. The housing also has a red filter. This is a great entry level camera for the scuba diver just getting into underwater photography.

This camera was always rinsed and soaked in fresh water after each water use, per the manufactures directions.
