Anybody have this setup? Would like to know your experiences. Also, is there an external strobe available for this?

The olympus S600 can have the PT29 Housing to go with it, and Olympus ranges a few accessories, and strobes for this model.

check out the olympus website normally they hold quite a lot of stuff, else those Underwater housing retailers will have the info you need too :).

On non SLR models, you'll probably be using a "slave" strobe, or an IR Command which is placed behind the reflector... anyhow it's all possible :)

thanks milk...i went to olympus to check out some things. i did not see anything listed for a strobe, optional lenses, etc. i checked other places as well. i like the camera because of the large lcd, and the housing because of the large buttons, but i do not want to get something where expanadabilty is limited or non-existent. any other ideas?

thanks for the info guys. after researching the crap out of cameras this past week, i finally made a decision. my decision was based upon a few factors.

1. i didn't want anything too complicated

2. i do not want to be a pro photographer

3. i did not want to spend $1500-2000 on a rig

4. i needed a larger lcd because i'm farsighted

i ended up getting an olympus stylus 500, uw housing and xtra battery for $325 off of an olympus dealer on ebay. seems to be an excellent deal based on my research.
