Olympus epl1 and housing newbie ? (+)

Just bought a used Oly epl1 with an Oly housing. Trying to match up to a sealife sl960D strobe. If anyone has any tips on getting started I would be forever grateful. Where do I start? I've follwed manuals and get camera and strobe to fire at the same time while set to iso 100 and flash full as per manual, I have the fn button set to toggle from one fish to three fish, but when I toggle it defaults the iso to 200 and the flash to fill in and then the camera and strobe are out of sinch. Help.
