Has anyone used the fisheye lens from Olympus in the f3.5 configuration? I know the panasonic version is pretty similar and is good and the Olympus fisheye in the f1.8 is great. Just haven’t really heard much about the f3.5

For CFWA, I use the non-pro version of the 8 m fisheye quite a bit. Awesome behind the same port as for the Panasonic. IQ not quite as good as the pro but for most shots it is awesome

You likely know that the Olympus 8mm f.3.5 is a 4/3, but not micro 4/3, lens. It thus requires an adapter (usually Metabones) for use on an m4/3 body (like e-m1 or 5, OM-1, etc.). The Panasonic is an micro 4/3 lens, like the Olympus 1.8. Like a number of others here, I happily use the Panasonic m.4/3 fisheye, mostly for CFWA. It is delightfully small butquite capable; aperture on such a wide lens is relatively unimportant because even wide open, extremely wide lenses approach infinite depth of field through the aperture range. FWIW, the Metabones adapter adds a stop to the maximum aperture and I'd think it would affect port choice.

I am using the "official" Olympus adapter MMF-2 ( I think) and a port extension. Works fine. I had the lens for a long time and wanted to see if it could work. I never was able to get the metabones to work well, although other folks can make it work.
