While we are waiting for the Nauticam 12-50mm port we did some measuring with the Flat Port 72 and the Olympus 2.8 60mm macro lens. The question we have gotten is “how much room is between the front of the 60mm lens and the glass of the Flat Port 72?”

It is about 8.5mm.

So not ingsinificant but we found using +5 and +8 dipoters, externally mounted, you can get nice results. So while maybe not “perfect” the Olympus 60mm can be used with the 72 Flat Port, the external diopter holder, and your choice of diopter.

Thanks for the report, Martin. That answers the question whether the 10mm Kenko ext. tube will work.

dumb question...do these measurements somewhat line up similarly for the stock port on the e-pt01?
