For Sale: My full original P&S set-up.

Olympus 5050 camera. Includes all original box, paperwork, booklets, extras in the box.

Olympus PT-015 housing. Includes extra o-ring set, grease, weight, view-hood.

Extras:
Custom made aluminum base with single padded handle with UCS ball on top of right-sided handpiece. These were made by a digitaldiver.net forum member back in 2002-2003.

1 gig CF card.

Hard-sided case (non-waterproof).

Printed "helpful use" information for the 5050 as an underwater camera and as a guide to using the camera in general.

This gear was last used in 2005 in Turks & Caicos. I never had a leak problem, nor a problem with the camera. The camera was dropped in 2008 and a small piece near the control dial broke off. I still have the piece, and it does NOT effect any functioning.

As this stuff has been sitting in a closet for over 1 year (I moved to DSLR) I cannot comment on the current camera function nor the housing function.

This is the extent of the damage to the area between the upper and lower control dials. The On/Off switch is not affected in any way.

In addition, the missing piece has no effect when the camera is mounted in the housing.

Is it still available? Does it power on? Does the battery hold a charge or does it need to be replaced?

As of within 5 minutes of this posting, the camera turns on, appears on very quick "button pushing" to be working normally.

The camera takes 4 AA batteries. Your choice as to how to power. I had 3 sets of rechargables. One fully charged set usually lasted for 90 min of full auto-focus, "live view", flash use diving.

No batteries nor chargers are included in this sale.
