Has anyone tried the Olympus M. Zuiko ed 45mm in a pt-ep01 housing? Or just used the lens its self?

I read about this, but I don't see the appeal. F1.8 speed perhaps? I'm not sure what port to use, standard one I suppose. I have been hoping to get a macro M4/3 50mm F2 lens if they would ever make it, but this is not it. I suppose it could be used with wet macro lenses. I bought the Panasonic 45mm macro instead, and it's amazing.

About the company: If you read the news, Olympus just got busted for financial hanky-panky. They were hiding huge financial losses from high risk investments behind fake acquisitions, using Cayman Islands banks. Accounting fraud big time. Stock is down 70%. Many senior execs resigned. I don't know what the future holds for this great company, but I suspect they will have to be bought by Panasonic or another Japanese firm to survive, like Minolta sold its camera line to Sony. The sad part is they make good money on endoscopes. They just made some high risk speculative investments and lost big time. The bubble burst.

So, it might be a good time to buy up Olympus gear, before it goes away. I would expect a fire sale if there is a merger though, but availability and support will be spotty. Sad.... That's my two cents worth, personal opinion only. I'll be watching them closely.
