Hi everyone,

I picked up a set of regs that included this Uwatec diving computer.
Just wondering whether anyone knew anything about it.

It doesn't seem to have an opening anywhere to get to the battery (since the battery is flat) so I'm assuming it's one of the ones that have the battery soldered on and cannot be replaced.

Cheers!

It's not a computer. It just displays the 4 data items shown. I think they called it a Digital Depth Gauge.

I haven't seen one of those in a long time...

The ancestor of this one: Scubapro Digital Depth Gauge Wrist Mount, Metric
I see!
Thank you for the info. Do you think the battery is replaceable?
I'll be calling the LDS when it opens tomorrow for information as well.

You can still buy it from Scubapro!
Plenty tec divers are still using it.
However, any budget computer that has gauge mode and user replaceable battery will offer better valve for money than this classic.
The only issue with this BT is that you do not know when the battery will die. Average life span is around 10yrs depend on useage. I had one died on me luckily it was after a dive.

Also suggest any of this age be tested if you have a local source that can pressure test it for accuracy. I've had the pressure sensor in these go bad and experienced an increasing discrepancy in displayed depth to as much as a 10m/33ft difference when I was at around 65m/210ft.

FWIW, OP the unit is around 20yrs old.
