I have a couple of older tanks that have been sitting under the bed collecting dust for a while. I am looking forward to useing them this summer. where can I take them to get a vis and (if they need it) hydroed? my lds???

In my neighborhood the gas supplier does the hydro's. Call up the local gas supplier (welding/medical and ask who does the hydro and take them directly). If you don't know, the hydro date is stamped on the neck of the tank. They are good for 5 years.

I vote for the fire extinguisher/industrial gas supplier too. Check & make sure they do the hydros on site, and ask ahead of time for a copy of their printout (how much the tank stretches).
That's where your LDS takes them anyway.
Call ahead, prices vary from $8 - $25 or so.
My local hydro guy charges $14, and that includes a cleaning of the steel tanks if they need it too.
