Old meaning 63 and recently retired from Military and teaching. Now have the time and money to go diving anywhere and anytime! Been diving since 1968, so been around the block a couple of times. Would like to find a Dive buddy (male or female) who wants to share costs so we can dive even more! I'm a very experienced diver and willing to take on a fairly new diver if in good physical condition. Just got back from Cozumel and I can tell you the current there is a butt-kicker. No place for an out of shape diver.I live in Okla city and can get to Dallas for flights out to just about anywhere. Tip to anyone going to Cozumel during the Winter. Take a wind jacket with hood. You'll love it when your fast boat takes off for the dive site. It can get nippy especially after the first dive and your wet. I could have sold my wind jacket for big bucks on my fast boat a couple of times. Remember to put it in a waterproof bag. Trust me, nothing stays dry on a fast boat loaded with divers.
Thinking about a trip to Curacao in late May for a seven day (five dive days). Looking for dive buddy to keep costs down and so we can shore dive safely after the two tank morning boat dive. Probally can get cost down to about 1200 to 1400 each for everthing but chow. Please contact me if anyone out there has been to Curacao. I'm looking at Continental Dive package from Continental airlines. Sounds reseasonable if I have buddy. If you know of a better deal please let know. Thanks fellow divers
