Hello
I have several hundred dives logged but It has been 25+ years since my last dive other than my trip to St Andrews State Park last summerI have had the opportunity to dive many of the WWII wrecks off the coast of the Carolina's.and one of my most terrifying experiences being a German U Boat at the 300+depth where i had to decompress which I never want to do again.

Anyway, now I am slowly getting back into sport diving buying a piece of gear here and there to replace what has dry rotted over the time my old gear has been in storage.Knowing now what time can do to expensive diving gear I plan on buying cheap this time because I don't plan on going past 40' any more and see no reason to sink several hundred dollars on a first and second stage reg.
I found a place on line that caters to fat guys so now I have a new shorty wet suit and I am all set to by my BC:eyebrow:

I am now disabled so I have limitations, Right now I am just snorkeling until I can get conditioned.
I am having difficulty trying to attain my certification card because PADI has no record of my open water cert because it has been 35 years since I certified.
Any Ideas of what I can do to attain my card other than re-certifying?:dontknow:

welcome aboard

Thanks for the welcome:blinking:
Well I found out why I cant find any record of my Certifications, apparently the YMCA did not bother to keep any records prior to 1984 which I am pissed about because I sunk a couple of thousand dollars and a lot of time getting those classifications now I am going to have to start all over from scratch THANKS YMCA BOARD OF
DIRECTORS:shakehead:

I made my 522 logged dive yesterday at Destin Jetties yesterday thanks to an old diving buddy who hydroed and fillled my tanks for me:eyebrow:

I taught my wife how to snorkel in the pool at the motel yesterday evening so now we are fixing to head out after a little breakfast to do some snorkeling WOOT!...
since none of the LDS here in Destin will touch my tanks without a C card.... Thanks Again Y!:worship::whack::soapbox:
