what's the oldest piece of dive gear that you are still using ? I have a U.S.Divers air gauge from 1966 to check tank pressure ....... next is my Scubapro Jet Fins from 1970

The oldest piece of gear I dive with is about 2 years or so. I still have the Tabata BCD from 20+ years ago but I wouldn't dive it although it's still in great shape. I try to upgrade my gear on a regular basis, most of my older stuff has been worn out or broken. SP50 my older brother is supposed to be sending me his old double hose rig, maybe we 'll go dive dbl hoses sometime.-M

I had, and am desperate to replace, an old USD? snorkle that was straight, black, and had a right angle mouth piece (perpendicular) in the convoluted tubing.

The dog ate it.

I would pay a rediculous amount of money for one (mint).

I've seen hundreds of them.

Everywhere.

Everyone has one.

Till mine was injested, that is... :11:

I have a few steel 72's from the late 60's in regular service as well as a late 60's vintage Scubapro Adjustable Second stage (upgraded to the current configuration Balanced Adjustable status) on one of my deco bottles and I still use the set of XL Scubapro Jet fins I bought in 1985.

I also have a pair of DA Aquamasters and a DW Mistral double hose regs in restored condition from the 1959-1961 era. The Mistral is my favorite and gets fairly frequent use on vintage dives.
