Oktoberfest at Madison

I miss the good old days when Uncle Sam would send me to Germany.

Here is the plan. Since Oktoberfest usually starts in late September, so I plan to have an Oktoberfest at the Quarry. Bratwursts, possibly some schnitzels, root beer (Yes, no alcohol allowed), and what ever we can think of to go with it.

What does everyone thing about this crazy idea?

I'm nearing a time where I will start having to balance my time diving, and fulfilling duties on our hunting land. I know the end date of the lease must be getting close. If possible, can you post how much longer we have to enjoy the quarry? I would like to make sure I get one last dive to savor some time with a old friend - sure would be a nice time to own a video camera.

We have it until October 31st, which falls on a Friday.

As for the event. I will have a firm date within a week or so. I will post it here and on other boards.
