Since the link at the top keeps nagging me to stop lurking. :bash:

I am an outdoor enthusiast, hunter and fisherman. I Teach hunter ed for WDFW, and will hunt anything that walks, crawls swims or flies – as long as it’s legal.

I've been diving a few times on resort dives and constantly thinking about getting certified. Finally decided to take the ‘plunge’ when my daughter’s boyfriend bought her SCUBA lessons for her birthday. Looking forward to bowhunting the Puget Sound and Washington Coast.

Hiya, Hunter! :wavey:

Welcome. Not that I hunt or fish or anything like that, but you might find it easier to spearfish, rather than bowhunt, in the Puget Sound. :giggle:

When do you take your class?

Class starts this Friday. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm a bowhunter. I picked up a speargun and thought, hmmm... shaft, tip, bands under pressure, trigger... this thing is a crossbow. That makes spearfishing underwater bowhunting. Sweet! :D

Make sure you take pictures! I hope you have oodles of fun -- there are some great folk in the NW that seem to really like diving there.

Too :cold: for me.
