Ogden Point Wolf Eel / Octopus Watch

Hi everyone,

I dive every weekend with the majority of it at the Victoria Breakwater. I thought I would post in this thread some of the recent dens I have come across and I hope you will do the same.

Location: 15' before Flag #4
Depth: 55ft
Den: Wolf Eel, Orange/Brown in colour

Actually, you probably shouldn't. Fishermen can cruise forums like this and locate the octos they want to catch.

I've met this guy exactly at that place. 1.5 meter long, very playful - came out of den, begging for food, allowed to pet him. There was another - huge and old one, sitting in the same den, but didn't come out...

Two huge wolf-eels at the OP breawater's second bend today - spend maybe 20 min. @ 15 meters, playing with them... that's was something awesome!
