Hello,
I am planning a late October one week trip with 2 kids, 14 and 11. The 14 year old is a natural, very independent, has been diving for 4 years and intends to do his Advanced on the trip.
The 11 year old is newly qualified, and obviously restricted to 12m. We would like to find a suitable eastern dive destination, flying out of London, which isn’t Thailand (the 14 year old has been there twice already).
We are open-minded and adventurous. We’d like the dives to be day boat based, and we’d prefer not to be in a noisy night time area. The kids are not so keen on the tiny critters. I guess the key is to find shallow sites, which aren’t shore based, but which also have enough interest for the 14 year old. I could possibly let the 14 year old go off on a different boat, occasionally, if that’s allowed. He’s pretty competant all round.
I apologise if I’ve asked a question which is a typical noob one. I have spent a good few hours trawling around for info already, but I’d appreciate any advice.
