Octo-z question

I am going to buy an Octo-z for my Brigade and I have a question that I have searched and still don't understand for sure. I currently have a Miflex QD hose for my bc. Will I have to replace this with a reg hose or can I use an adapter?

You will have to replace it with a reg hose and use the Octo-Z adapter on it....as far as I know!!!
